Whistle Watch

The Whistle Watch are the tireless caretakers of a crumbling infrastructure. While surface conflicts rage, constant tremors erode the PILLARS of the Woodland’s foundation. The Watch contains this damage by building SHELTERS, scoring victory points by spending cards to SAFEGUARD the denizens in clearings they SURVEY. To navigate the map, their warriors become SLEEPERS waiting beneath the surface until they strategically reappear via hidden WAYPOINTS marked on their BLUEPRINT. However, to take actions, the Watch must turn HATCHES to their OPERATING side, confirming no PILLAR is present and granting enemies a safe zone to strike without fear of the devastating FAULTLINE. Ultimately, the Watch is undone by its own success: stabilizing the Woodland with SHELTERS removes the very threats that make them essential, leaving rivals to thrive in the safety provided.
